Philosophy vs Morals 1 Year, 10 Months ago

I love Philosophy "A way of thinking". I am a Philosopher. I love morals therefore I am a moralist. In my old age I am now believing morals are of a independent nature...but at what point does it become a social issue? If someone interferes with my space do I have a right to speak my mind? Thoughts please. pljamesone@att.net

Is this solipsism? If someone interfears with your space, in my opinion, you have every right to speak your mind. Some might even say that moraly, you have an obligatory right to speak your mind even if they do not enter your space; to teach your moral code that is. But if your moral code is for you and apllies to only you, perhaps alruism is out of the question, perhaps you would not want to share your ethical codes with others unless only in the event they interfear with your space. I am confused here as to what your moral actions are, as you say, you are a moralist, but if your morals do not include helping others unless they interfear, what then is left? Is this an ethical egoism? What are your ideas on morals? Do you love morals because they are good, or are morals good because you love them? Lastly, do you just call yourself a moralist because it raises your thought pattern and brings about a sence of plessure? Please forgive my way of speaking to you, it seems from before, that you don't fully understand what I am getting at usually, for I do not speak with scientific method or any system of logic.(I was kicked out of school when I was 15, I have close to no education, so have some understanding and try to keep your emotions at bay this time.)

My Friend Cado,
I quit school at seventeen. Philosophy to me is "a way of thinking". Morals to me is "order". I have seen and lived disorder so I am for "order within reason". I know what is good and bad. Been bad now chose good. I have "morphed my version of Philosophy from hunderds of those which have done the same"! Philosophy like morals are totally independent and individualized by personal choice. I did not realize my emotions were guiding my thread. My thread is questions only to learn others thoughts and how they think...without emotions. pljames

Really; I suppose you consider life to BE philosophy. But do you by yourself understand the Kharma, the way of living to suit the project on truth you were after-all conditioned to OR merely accustomed to for something you had all along because of personal Taste. Of course you could be of an ethical preference in understanding your fellowman, but then that would be an observation to be tallied against your own actions usually understanding how to correct your life rather than exemplify it. People have questionable emotions which are acculturated for the circumstance of their being observed. So people have emotions and the morals accompany them: I didn't understand you at that one.
However, I do have the certain feeling, which in observation is like an emotion, to consider the alternative form of Morals commonly understood: inspired by emotions. How would we consider these as philosophers explained for the experience independently of the results of Ethics, good OR bad? That experience is the Culture which has no value accumulated for Knowledge in it's contrast at the books WE read.
For freeing Epistimology. I know you're not Old. Good, though..
Hegel had the Moral View of the World. Which was a result of the culture of his time. He solves how emotions may be compatible to morality rigorously that a society may sustain it's values without demanding its citizens to cross their obedience to laws with their righteous actions: I think christianity does well.

My friend Cado,
You gave me a thought. Maybe I took from live what I understood and morphed it to my philosophy of "a way of thinking"? As for the word emotion mine are hidden because I have been running from being human for my entiure life. I am seventy but feel five thousand and seventy. Again ethics are a individual choice. I am a recluse and a loner even at being married with a grandson. pljames
P.S. I worship knowledge. I feel knowledge came from God to Adam.

pljames,
I appreciate what seems to be sincerity in your words. The last post here from you prompted this response from me. Knowledge is a wonderful thing if used properly. Wisdom is just that.
Be well my friend...
