Quick fact-check: the book Nussbaum commented on was "May Day". Inspecting it, I see
it is very light on organized rhyme and meter. It's great, though. I cannot speak
for other Levin much, but I do know this book. The mythology/psychology connection
is a side-angle I am particularly interested in.
I'm back to standing by my opening lines, then, but I'm glad you enjoy Levin.
For solid rhyme and meter, someone like Deborah Warren (of the Powow River group),
who also uses mythological references, is more into 'classical' poetry.
I would wager Deborah's stuff is also quite informative, along the lines of 'dasein'.
