Esophilosophy, a new field of study... 5 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 1
I just wanted to present a new concept, which I refer to as Esophilosophy.
It represents a study of the Esoteric dimensions of Man and of Life, and drigs along the physical dimension of Man, plugging in all the many holes the brain and thinking is unable to fill.

It is based on some thirty years of study of the Esoteric dimensions of Man via my work as a psychotherapist for some 20 years, and then as an Esogist for the last dozen years or so.

This new field of study utilizes the faculty of intuition, and is not capable of being studied by the brain and thinking. This is of course a red flag to the intellectual. But, I believe it's time to split off, or peel off a path for those who are capable and perhaps even prefer to utilize the Right-brain and the Esoteric dimension of intuition. What say you?

Peace

This sounds very familiar. Don't cats already live by this principle? Come to think of it, so does my mother-in-law.

Is a cat's faculty of intuition the same kind as my mother-in-law's? If not, then what's the diference?

When I hear faculty of intuition I think sensible intuition.

Does this deal with non-conceptual "judgments" of the senses? (I put scare quotes around judgments because the senses can't judge under concepts.)

I say this:

The next time you use your own "faculty of intuition" please apprise us of what it was in particular you intuited.

Or, as I often put it, "what in the world are you talking about?"

The cat has "instincts" which are subtle MIND-level memories from previous births. And this everyone has to various degrees. I am speaking of utilizing the natural psychic insight many people have, but have been taught to deny or ignore.

The problem with education in America today is that it avoids intuition in favor of the Left-Hemisphere and thinking. Intuition is an Esoteric operation, natural, but largely under utilized by most people. Words that might point to an intuition are "abstract words", and cannot themselves convey the experiential energy of the intuition.
