I want to say that internet has opened up the whole world. We need to enjoy this freedom with caution.
Socrates, Plato and Aristotle laid down excellent foundations for Philosophy. But I believe time has now come to move on and re-name philosophy as " concept engineering ".
The Art and the Science of the Third Millennium which will help us open up our imagination and build a better Kingdom of God on earth than up there in Heaven!
My proposal is to call philosophy as concept engineering so that we could build on Platonic Heritage and have better understanding of our selves, better understanding of the universe and of God!

Aristotle said in 2000 BC:
Knowledge is to know thyself.
Hebrew King, King David said in 3000 BC: Fear of the Lord is the Foundation of Knowledge.
Concept Engineer: hebrewboy said in 2005 AD: ephilosophy or concept enginering is to make your imagination a widom well of God!

I just think it is an interesting thing to say that fear in god is the foundation of knowledge. Because the bible says to love god; can one love what they fear?
Knowledge is to find the true nature in yourself and overcome it to create a nature that links the natures of others together in the union of a specific purpose.

I would say yes. SOme love snakes, but they still fear the snake's bite. I would even say Diotima fears knowleadge but loves it at the same time. When younger, I feared the wrath of my father, yet I still love him to death.
