Some people are interested.
If you want to make the point that
real metaphysics, a priori as you say,
is generally messed up, all you have to is
point out the conflicts with facts found later
or the lack of fit with other Philosophers
(so...point taken, and easily made)
Still, people will speculate beyond. It is our way.

We are ... more and more so it seems.
What we think life is may very well be an illusion, but it is.
How about that carrot and stick thing though?
It's now. Looks like the past is the structure of now. So, it appears that the big bang is now.

My friend Marshal,
I am here to learn. Hopefully I have asked all the questions on how we got here. It just seems to me life was created from primoral ooz or the big bang does not seem logical. Does energy have intelligence? I feel only another intelligent being has the intelligence to create life without ooz or accident. What is the nature of ooz or a atom that creates anything? As for the life might be a illusion that to seems illogical. pljames

Just what is an 'illusion'?
The gas-station attendant and I are different,
but we calibrate our misperceptions so we can
do business fine.
Is it totally made up? I doubt that.
It is vastly harder to simulate a thing
than to just have it be what it is.
As for the big bang, who on earth actually
is affected by whether or not it happened?
A sense of perspective would help.

An illusion is just something being other than what it appears. I think it’s logical to assume life might be something other than what it appears to be or what I think it to be. Whatever it is, it’s real. I’m just not sure what it is.
There seem to be a bunch of clues lying around. Now if I could just decipher them. It wouldn’t change reality if I understood it, but maybe I wouldn’t trip so often, - painful. On the other hand, maybe we could improve the GUI a bit.
I love the allusiveness of big bang theory: the implication that time is also illusive.
It often occurs to me that perspective is why there’s us.

Intelligence uses energy. Energy in general does not have intelligence. For life to get to what it is now, all that is needed is the simplest possible system that allows replication or very primative reproduction in this case. Then evolution should do the rest. Here's how that works:
Fact #1 Living organisms reproduce.
Fact #2 Reproductions cause populations to grow at an exponential rate.
Fact #3 Exponential growth unchecked will cause the population to grow to infinity
Fact #4 All life requires resources i.e. food, resources, space
Fact #5 The earth contains a finite amount of room and receives a finite amount of energy
Exponential growth + finite resources = competition
Fact #6 mutations happen
Fact #7 most of an organisms traits are coded in its DNA (spontaneous natural mutations produce the variety)
DNA + the universe = variation
Variation + Competition = Natural Selection
Natural Selection + Time = Evolution
