What is it to exist? Is there a reason a purpose? If there were no exisitence then there would be no questions. If life is a illusion we would always be searching for reason and purpose for being a concious being. Even being here and concious we have questions...why? If we were not here then no questions. Existence with questions must be valid..for some reason? I do not believe in the big bang theory. Life from nothing. I believe God used matter and atoms to create our universe and us. I cannot belive we come from primorial ooz? Where did it come from? How did life get into the ooz in the first place?
Before life no evolution only after life. But my question is whats the reason for our existence as concious beings? pljamesone@att.Net
Speaking of asking questions, why is it that you're willing to entertain the possibility that life is an illusion yet not willing to entertain the possibility of the big bang or the primordial ooze? These are theories that don't need divine intervention to explain how we exist.
Here's how I understand the answers we get from science regarding the big questions:
The primordial ooze came from the conditions present on earth during the time. Just recently they were able to recreate the ingredients of RNA in a lab based on conditions they think existed on earth when it happened. More information found here:

This freak accident only needs to happen once over the course of billions of years to get to where we are now theoretically that causes a spark of life or some kind of replicating process to get the process of natural selection and evolution going.
It's been theorized that most matter in the universe is dark matter which causes matter to come into existence. According to the big bang theory, what existed in the beginning was only hydrogen which is why it is the most common element found in the universe since it only has one electron and one proton. Over time the hydrogen atoms came together because of the gravitational attractions between them causing them to heat up and become stars.
As the hydrogen atoms kept being pushed together this caused nuclear fusion causing heavier elements to be created and shot off from the star during solar flares. Eventually those atoms came together forming planets.
People often continue to question about where this came from, where did that came from until the person has no answer or no answer they are willing to accept unless it's something they want to hear like saying god did it. I'd call that an appeal to ignorance.
