Although these things could be true and are at times, it is not always the case, is it? Can someone learn to use sarcasm without having bad intentions, without it being ad hom? I would think so.
I can imagine it existing as such in a shared experience between two people in which one is acting out two different third person narratives.
True...it definitely has its uses.
A sarky line that posits agreement with the bad results
of following someone's idea, for instance.

Are you being sarcastic?
Methinks, yea verily.

It is an irony for undetermined concerns. Now for determined concerns there is that Hope.
I personally don't believe in hope.

I am having a really hard time finding justification for using it in the first place. Is it ever the best way to communicate any given idea?
True...it definitely has its uses.

Can it be put to good use? If, by good, I mean increasing mutual respect and trust between people through honest dialogue? Granted, there are times when one needs to be shown that they are or may be mistaken, however, is sarcasm the way?

Sarcasm by extrapolated outcome can be a real time-saver.
I suppose it's only sarcasm if it's unrealistically stretched.
Most of it is more unreliable online
than in person, though. Of marginal use.
At least it's content linked...
..plain insults have the added disrespect
of ignoring the topic at hand.
