"Hilary Putnam, the Cogan University Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Harvard, one of the central figures of contemporary philosophy, will visit UCD School of Philosophy in March 2007 to deliver a series of postgraduate seminars.
Prof. Putnam will be accompanied by his wife, philosopher Ruth Anna Putnam, who will also lecture in the School of Philosophy. Their visit will culminate in a major international conference celebrating Putnam’s 80th birthday."
