Luce Irigaray, the pre-eminent theorist of sexual difference, will be in
residence in Liverpool in June 2007. She will be giving a plenary talk
(theme to be confirmed).

We welcome abstracts for papers on (but not
limited to) the following themes:
- Sexual difference
- Becoming, and especially feminine becoming
- The ‘sensible transcendental’
- The ‘feminine imaginary’
- Maternal order
- Placental economy
- Essentialism
