Book: James Bond and Philosophy, James B. South, Jacob M. Held
"The book examines the hidden philosophical issues in the hazardous, deceptive, glamorous world of Bond, M and Miss Moneypenny. It also delves into many of the complex themes brought about over the years through the Ian Fleming books and the movies: Are the characters in the Bond series merely sexy vixens, evil villains and the classically flawed hero? James Bond and Philosophy: Questions are Forever, which includes 15 essays, is co-edited by South and Dr. Jacob Held of the University of Central Arkansas. South’s previous work includes Buffy the Vampire
