Guidelines for the Philosophy Forums. Welcome to the philosophy forums! Here are some simple but important guidelines for using the forums and posting comments on ephilosopher.
(1) Ensure your post is clearly written and formatted (e.g. no all caps). (2) Wherever possible provide arguments in defense of your claims. (3) Be courteous. Critique the argument, not the person. (4) Post on topic, in the right category, and with an informative title. (5) Check to see if there is already a thread on your topic. (6) Provide arguments, arguments, and more arguments
